Charity Fund «Карітас-Caritas» Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese a member of the round table on the problems of modern emmigration held on 29 January 2009 in Uzhgorod city hall. This round table was organized by the International Institute of Education, Culture and Relations with the Diaspora NU «Lviv Polytechnic» in the frameworks of the project «Modern emigration: problems of social and national orphanage» financed by Open Ukraine Foundation and Victor Pinchuk Foundation. Participants in the roundtable were representatives of government, NGOs, educationalinstitutions, and representatives of Mukachevo Greek-Catholic diocese.

This round table started with a presentation of the book «The children of immigrants about themselves» and art posters «Large Ukrainian heart for Ukraine and the world!». Then there were submitted reports from the government and NGOs, which related to issues of social and national orphanage in the sense of modern migration and share this problem in different spheres (legal, social, psychological, etc.).

The organizers of the round table are planning to hold similar tables in different cities and then formulate proposals to address problems of social and national orphanage of state authorities at various levels and illustrate it in the media.
