12^th of March2009 representatives of International organization of migration (Maya Vebler,Marina Mayorova) together with officials from Administration of State borderguard service of Ukraine (Koval, Abalmasov) visited Charity fund «Карітас-Caritas» of Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese with working meeting.During this meeting issues concerning joint cooperation between Caritas and IOMin 2009 inthe frameworks of the project «Technical Cooperation and Capacity Building for the Governments ofUkraine and Moldova for the Implementation of Readmission Agreements with theEuropean Union (GUMIRA)». Also there were discussed issues about reporting and access to Chopdetention center. Official from SBS underline during meeting that CF «Карітас-Caritas» MGCD should work not only in Chop detention centerbut also on the territory of Zakarpattya region andSBS will give support in these activities. After meeting in Caritas office IOM representativesvisited Chop detention center together with Caritas officials.
