On Wednesday, March 25,
Charity Fund «Карітас-Caritas» Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese visited
attended by representatives of UNHCR, ECRE and NEEKA. The objectives of the
visit was the presentation of the project «Monitoring of safe and adequate conditions
of return and detention. Protection of asylum-seekers, refugees and exiles, in
Belarus, Moldova, Russian Federation and Ukraine », and to discuss cooperation
and exchange of information between CF «Карітас-Caritas» MGCD and the International Fund for the Protection of Health
and the Environment in 2009. NGOs agreed that cooperation is needed to improve
services for migrants, asylum seekers and refugees, as well as to monitor the
situation returns to the European Union and the movement of migrants, asylum
seekers and refugees in Zakarpattya region. For the formalization of relations,
it was decided to conclude an agreement on cooperation and information exchange
between between CF «Карітас-Caritas» MGCD and NEEKA.
