On Thursday, 09 April 2009, a group of Armenian citizens (12 people and 6 of them children) was transferred to Chop border to from Slovakia. Charity Fund «Карітас-Caritas» Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese has provided these individuals with social and legal assistance. Caritas purchased for children fruits, baby food and the social worker that is everyday work in detention centre of Chop border troop distribute these products though migrants from Armenia.

From the words of the detainees they applied during their detention in the territory of Slovakia to the representatives of the police for refugee status, but the police rejected their request and returned them to the Ukraine.
